House Rules
1. General Conduct and Behavior
Tenants are expected to behave in a civilized manner, be considerate of neighbors, and respect the rights of others in the surrounding area. Noise should be kept to a minimum, especially after 22:00. Disruptive or illegal behavior within the property is strictly prohibited.
2. Arrival and Departure
If your arrival or departure time changes, please inform the host as soon as possible so that necessary arrangements can be made, especially for late-night arrivals or early departures.
3. Waste Disposal and Recycling
Tenants must dispose of all waste properly in the designated containers. Trash should not be left in hallways or outside the door. Leaving trash inside for long periods attracts pests. Please separate recyclables and follow local recycling guidelines.
4. Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, under any circumstances.
5. Electrical Equipment
Please use heating and cooling systems responsibly. Turn off systems when not in use to conserve energy. Electrical equipment such as air-conditioning, fans, ovens, and washing machines should be used carefully. Never leave these devices running when no one is at home.
6. TV, WiFi, and Internet Usage
TV channels and settings should not be altered. Tenants are not permitted to change WiFi settings or reset the routers. The WiFi is for personal use only, and activities such as illegal downloading or excessive streaming are prohibited. Any resetting of systems will result in a service charge.
7. Use of Provided Items
Items such as linens, towels, and kitchenware are provided by the Owner. Tenants must notify the Owner of any damage to these items. A minimum charge of €100 applies for damages caused by sun protection oil or children without diapers. Consumables like soap and toilet paper are the responsibility of the Tenants. Towels should not be used to clean floors or dirt.
8. Security Measures
Tenants are responsible for securing the apartment by locking doors and windows and safeguarding keys. Balcony doors must be closed when leaving. A minimum charge of €50 will apply for lost keys or lockouts.
9. Insurance and Liability
The Owner's insurance does not cover the personal belongings of the Tenants. Tenants should have their own insurance to protect against accidents or theft.
10. Maintenance Requests
Please report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken appliances, plumbing) to the host immediately. Prompt reporting ensures the issue can be resolved quickly and that future guests will also have a comfortable stay.
11. Lost Items
The host is not responsible for any lost or forgotten items. If you think you’ve left something behind, contact us promptly, and we will do our best to help.
12. Special Events
If you plan to host any events or gatherings during your stay, please inform the host and obtain permission. Unauthorized events may result in additional charges or the cancellation of your reservation.
13. Hot Water Usage
Please be mindful of the hot water supply, as excessive use may lead to shortages.
